  Riptide played at our wedding in early September 2023 and we were so so happy we booked them. They played two sets - one focused on slightly older songs and the second one more recent tracks - and both were excellent. So many people on the night commented on how good the band were. Communication before the event was really easy and straightforward, and so was any logistics. They were also very understanding with the slight delays on the night as well. Highly highly recommend Riptide - you'll have a great evening.

  Riptide was amazing!!! We knew they were going to be good from their recordings but they blew our minds at the wedding! They were super speedy setting up, very attentive and listened to all requests. To put into perspective, they got the grooms grandad to be part of the dance floor most of the night and he was bound to a wheelchair unable to walk just a year ago. Not to mention the brides dad who were busting moves most of the night (have never actually seen him dance before). They even played a little extra song special for the grandad after having spoken to him in between the sets. The music they played in between was perfect, they read the crowd really well. They were honestly super talented and we wish we had another event coming up just to get to hear them play some more songs from their (awesome) repertoire. One of our friends is now considering them for their upcoming wedding if that doesn’t tell you enough.

  Riptide were INCREDIBLE! I don't even know where to start. From the beginning, the communication with Dan and then Alex was so easy, they were up for all the requests and questions I made and nothing was too much trouble. Fast forward to the wedding day, they arrived on time, set up quickly and did a perfect version of our first dance song, Lover by Taylor Swift. Their voices and little subtle changes to the song made it feel so personal and special for us, they gave it a wonderful subtle indie vibe so it didn't feel too pop-y and they just sounded incredible I was trying not to cry throughout the whole thing. I wish I could have their version recorded to reminisce at home. They really know how to play, their voices were perfect, their set list was amazing!! So many people commenting on the diverse set list, they had something for everyone. I didn't request any specific songs (apart from the first dance) I just put my trust in their judgement and I'm so glad I did. Their 3 sets were so much fun, every guest commented on how amazing they sounded, they assessed the crowd constantly and changed their set list accordingly depending on the age and energy on the dance floor. They were even great sports when one of our guests jumped up to use the mic at one point! We went over during one of the breaks to thank them and we got big hugs and huge smiles, such lovely lovely lads, having people like this on your wedding day really do make such a difference to the mood and vibe of the night. People were on the dance floor throughout, and once the pizza was served and energy restored to the guests the dance floor was packed! I really wish we had more excuses to book bands in the future because I would love to see them again and dance the night away. They really were the best band I've ever heard at a wedding, they were the perfect fit for us and if I had to do this all again I would book them again in a heart beat. I could gush about them for days, if you are umming and ahhing about picking the perfect band, you've already found them so book Riptide before they're gone.

  Riptide were awesome! Super energy and so polite, accommodating - even learning our 'first dance' song. So good in fact, my nephew is going to book them for his wedding! Great range of modern/old tunes. Not your typical 'wedding band' - far more grit and gusto!
